Grandma's Best Ever Sour Cream Lasagna - Review by Alyssa ...
I am not a huge fan of ricotta so I tried this recipe out. The lasagna was very tasty and had tons of flavor! My boyfriend was skeptical about the sour cream but it was delicious. He ate almost half the entire dish! I followed the recipe to a T and the only suggestion I would make is boiling the pasta for a little while longer so that it is much softer and easier to cut with a fork when done. It does not quite taste like traditional lasagna, but it will definitely be making its way onto my dinner table again. Thanks!
Sour cream is the surprise ingredient in this meaty lasagna. It makes the cheese layer extra-rich and tasty.
A very meaty and cheesy lasagna with mozzarella, Provolone, ricotta and Parmesan cheese layered with red sauce, browned beef and herbs.
Use premade pie crusts to make calzones stuffed with ground beef, Italian cheeses, mushrooms, and olives. It's so much easier and faster than making your own dough.
These stuffed lasagna noodles really hit the spot. Garnish with chopped parsley or sliced green onions. Serve with a tossed salad, warm garlic bread, and a white zinfandel for a superb meal. You can use fresh, frozen or canned peas for this recipe.
Hash browns, ham, and Cheddar cheese are baked with a savory sauce of sour cream and cream of chicken soup for a casserole that's perfect for brunch or dinner.
This is a fairly lean version of beef stroganoff, as most recipes call for more cream. This is something you can easily adjust to your tastes. I like a little thicker version, with just enough sauce to coat the meat and noodles.
Whip up an extra-easy dish of filled enchiladas with this recipe that uses cream cheese, Cheddar, Monterey Jack, and prepared salsa.
Mashed potato pizza is a pizza using mashed potatoes instead of sauce. I modeled it after a pizza I had at Willoughby Brewing Company, if you like this one, try the original! You can use any toppings you like on your baked potatoes, this is how I like it. Bon Appetite!
This recipe for focaccia was given to me by my best friend, who is Italian. It's incredibly simple, with only a few ingredients for the bread, and very versatile. I love it because there's no yeast, and it's just so easy to make!
