The lifeblood of Project 40 Collective has always been artists, artists, artists. We are artists. For the Volume 4 launch, artists will be at the forefront of our celebrations–performing readings, talks, live music, and selling their wares at our vendor market. For the moment, we want to highlight the musical performers whose talents will be at full display on that auspicious day.

ESTHER is a singer-songwriter from York Mills. Obsessed with pop radio, she started writing songs in grade 8. Last summer, she released her first collection of original songs on her “Welcome Back” EP. Since then, she’s been performing at art and house shows in Toronto. Now, Esther is working on a new album which will explore what it means to be a bi-ethnic woman in 2017. You can find her online at www.estyr.bandcamp.com or www.facebook.com/estyrmusic

ANDA ZENG’s art is word, song, and the symbolic cutting of her long, dark hair. She likes to keep her words vivid, her songs dreamy, her hair long, and her bios short. Her online presence is under construction here and here.
